WSP Winter Exhibition Success!

The WSP Winter Exhibition welcomed 300 guests through the doors of the Garden Gallery at Farnham Museum this weekend.  The visitors book recorded some excellent feedback on the range and quality of the work on show and there were plenty of sales too.  Well done and thank you to everyone who took part.

Wonderful to see so many WSP members showcasing their talents and inspiring to see work in a splendid setting.

It was fabulous to see so many of you at the Private View on Friday evening.  Thank you to everyone who brought along nibbles, I especially liked Mark’s homemade bread sticks….don’t think I was the only one who tucked in!

Thank you to Ian Chrystie for the photos, they capture the wonderful venue and the light perfectly.

Good job everyone!

WSP Winter Exhibition 2012

The Garden Gallery at the Farnham Museum will host the West Street Potters Winter Exhibition on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th November.

Open from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day, it will showcase a sample of work from the 146 students who attend tutored classes at Farnham Pottery.  The work is representative of both beginners and experienced potters and the majority will be for sale.

West Street Potters have run classes at Wrecclesham for many years, having moved there from their original premises in West Street, Farnham in 1999.   Restoration work is now taking place at the pottery site, hence the move into central Farnham for our exhibition this year.

Come along for an opportunity to see what we do, talk to our potters and buy something unique and individual.
