It is certainly Raku season….and it looks like everyone is in the mood!!
Christine has sent these pictures of the Raku firing that took place during her class last Tuesday evening. Some fabulous results. The vases are amazing and those tall houses are stunning. If you want to take a closer look they are proudly on show in the display cabinet at the pottery.

They are looking for a ceramics tutor, ideally with a specialism in throwing and a technician to service the kiln area and glaze resources.
The technician’s role is 8 hours per week, ideally on a Monday and a Friday. Mostly term time work with some additional holiday hours.
The tutor role is 2.5 hours per week on a Tuesday evening 7pm-9.30pm. Term time only.
