We have had to disconnect the gas kiln hood due to a serious problem with the chimney.
Unfortunately there will be no gas firings until the chimney is replaced. We are in discussions with Northern Kilns and it is hoped that work to do this will be within the next few weeks.
Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible and we thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. Please be aware that the glaze shelves will become very crowded as they try to accommodate the back log and it may be best if you do not glaze any further bisque ware until the gas kiln is up and running again.
On a positive note, you have hopefully noticed the new biscuit kiln has been installed…..
