The Art and Craft of Ceramics
We are an independently run organisation, set up to provide learning opportunities for people wanting to discover ceramics and clay.
West Street Potters is unique. With a steadily growing membership, and a commitment to providing opportunities to those interested in the world of ceramics, we are privileged to be able to continue the tradition of pottery within the historical Farnham Pottery at Wrecclesham, just outside of Farnham in Surrey.
Providing classes, both during the daytime and evenings, we aim to meet the needs of our membership which is currently in the region of 130 people. Members range from complete beginners through to semi-professionals.
We are open to anyone interested in ceramics, welcoming new members all the time. Throughout the year we arrange social events and demonstrations which often involve the wider community.
Do you hold classes for people to come in and give it a go? I would love to come and try with a friend!
Kind regards
Caroline
We are holding a one day hand-building course on 8th June, which would be a great opportunity for you to come and have a go at making something with clay and have some fun. See details on our blog or events page.
Hi There Rachel,
Do You do evening classes? That you can pay as and when you come?
Laura
Hi Laura, thanks for getting in touch. All our classes are based on a 12 week term, payable in advance. We are running a one-day course on Saturday 6th July, if that is of any interest? See our events page for details.
